Watercolors Spring Crocus

Winter/Spring 2023
Learn fun how-to techniques for painting in watercolors. Students will create studies and a finished painting of a beautiful spring crocus!
Recommended materials:
-Watercolors. MARIES set of 18 is a great value, or treat yourself to W&N.
-Mixed media or watercolor paper 11x14 is good size. Instructor will be using Fabriano 1264 140lb.
-Pencils/erasers – an H and kneaded & vinyl eraser
-Assortment of paint brushes including a “liner” & rounds
-Paper towels, large rinse cup
Instruction will take place through Zoom. Registrants will receive an email from Farmington Continuing Education containing a link and instructor information before the start of the course.

Instructor
New England Artist, ShawnaLee Waterbury-Kwashnak, has been drawing and painting her whole life. ShawnaLee specializes in pet and child portraiture and has been instructing art classes for more than 2 decades. She is skilled in a variety of media and is a board member of the Connecticut Society of Portrait Artists.
