Enrichment courses offered for Farmington Public School employees ONLY!
Join the FPS Ski / Snowboard Club at your school for five (5) ski trips after school in January & February to nearby Ski Sundown in New Hartford. Learn the sport of skiing / snowboarding as an active option in the winter months. Skiing / snowboarding teaches perseverance, fosters a sense of confidence, and promotes cardiovascular exercise. This is a great opportunity for new and experienced skiers to learn ski safety on the mountain and valuable fundamental skills through group lessons with a trained instructor. Group lessons for ALL skiers is highly recommended. Students will be transported to/from Ski Sundown by bus immediately following the school day (parent drop off/pick up is not allowed). Ski / Snowboard Club is offered to Farmington Public School students ONLY in Grades 3-8.
