Exploring Yoga

This course is perfect for those new to yoga or those looking for a slower-paced practice, offering a safe and welcoming environment to explore yoga's many benefits. Breathwork, a brief meditation, warm-ups, poses to increase strength, flexibility, balance, and new poses will all be explored!
Bring a yoga mat, yoga blocks, straps, and a blanket for rest (Shavasana).

While raising a family of three, Emily signed up for her first yoga class at a local YWCA, sparking her love of yoga over 35 years ago! After practicing for many years, Emily decided to become certified in 2009. She has attended many workshops and studied both anatomy and the science of yoga. Emily has taught in various locations and studios throughout the past twelve years. At the age of 61, Emily learned to honor and listen to her body. Her goal as an instructor is to help her students do the same.
Emily is happily married and has three children, a grandson and a granddaughter on the way! She enjoys riding her horse, walking, paddle boarding, and cooking. Yoga has helped Emily embrace life to the fullest. She hopes yoga does the same for her students!
