In this three-class series you will learn to cast on, knit, purl, bind off and sew seams making a tiny pocket purse the perfect size to carry AirPods or earbuds. •350 yards worsted weight wool blend yarn (I recommend Plymouth Yarn Company's Encore, available at New England Yarn, Southington) •Size US 8 Needles (You can use single pointed needles, but circular needles will allow you to make other types of garments later) •Knitting gauge ruler •Bent tip darning needle •Scissors •Stitch markers *Please consider purchasing from your local yarn shop.

Intermediate students will learn how to weave a ribbed ‘egg’ basket using color weavers provided by the instructor. The basket’s ‘bowl’ is approximately 12 in long , 9 in wide and 5 in deep. The handle which arches the basket adds another 5 in in height.

Both beginners and intermediate students will enjoy weaving a tray-shaped basket measuring 10 in long, 6 in wide, 4 in high. Intermediate students will have an option to weave a twill base. Handles will be added.

Acclimate yourself to oils in this beginner’s class! Learn basics to understand and successfully create oil paintings. Lessons include palette set-up, tips on mixing colors and studio safety tips.Students will gain experience with Alla-Prima Painting a simple fall foliage landscape.Time allowing, we will explore other approaches such as Grisaille and glazing. A more detailed materials list will be shared with registered students.Class will be taught via Zoom where students have the direct benefit of seeing slides, brief demonstrations, and interactive feedback. We will make a succulent potter using real pressed flowers. There will be a variety of shapes and colors for the pressed flower class. A succulent will be included too. All supplies included! We will also learn how to press flowers at home and a bit of history on them.

We will use sea glass from RI, CA, CT, MD and MA to wire wrap a starfish! Can be used as an ornament, window cling or car mirror decoration. Course fee includes supplies. This class involves wire wrapping the ornament.
