State Mandated CoursesThe Avon, Canton, Farmington, Region #10, and Simsbury Boards of Education provide courses in Adult Basic Education (ABE), Citizenship, High School Completion (GED®, CDP & NEDP), and English as a Second Language (ESL). These courses are FREE to residents of Avon, Burlington, Canton, Collinsville, Farmington, Harwinton, Simsbury, and Unionville. Courses ONLY take place at either the Farmington Public Library or Farmington High School. Registration is required for ALL courses! Childcare is available for children who are 4 years and older and who are toilet trained. Childcare is only available for courses held on Monday and Wednesday evenings at Farmington High School. Farmington Continuing Education complies with CT General Statutes Sec 10-71c. All mandated programs are free. We do not charge a fee for any textbooks or materials used in the classroom.Category
