  • Basic Beekeeping: Information and Equipment Needed to Start a Beekeeping Career

    Are you interested in learning more about beekeeping? Then this course is for you! Learn about honey bee biology, how to install a package of bees and witness their progress, as well as information about bee diseases. There will be a live demonstration of the proper way to install a package into the hive on the Saturday dates at the instructor's bee yard located at 356 Carmel Hill Road North, Bethlehem, CT.
  • Hikes - Nature Walk Series

    Nature walks provide physical and mental benefits that contribute to your healthy lifestyle. From fostering cardiovascular health and muscle strength to reducing stress and improving mood. Seniors enjoy 3 mile, 2 hour easy walks on Thursday mornings starting at 8:45am to 11:00am. Quality walking shoes, water, and poles are recommended. Any rescheduling due to weather will be sent before the walk via email. Come experience the local serenity and adventure at these outdoors.   • Lawn Bowling

    Lawn Bowling is a friendly sport suitable for all ages and physical abilities. The social aspects of the game are well suited to a relaxed atmosphere and a camaraderie among bowlers. Learn new skills, get outdoors, and meet new people. Students should wear flat-soled shoes - sneakers are suitable! The trainers will provide bowls. In the event of inclement weather (rain or drizzle) the course will still take place however, activity on the green will be limited and instruction will continue at the club indoors and on the porch.
