This course educates families on the importance of planning for the future of their child or dependent with special needs by addressing these vital issues ensures not only lifetime care but the quality of life for your loved one. Topics covered include; Special Needs Trusts, Guardianship/Conservatorship, SSDI/SSI/Medicaid/Medicare, Protecting Government Benefit eligibility, Financial Security/Funding Options, ABLE Accounts, and Letter of Intent.

Instructor

Stuart has been a financial advisor for nearly 30 years with a concentration in Special Needs Planning for 15 of those years. More importantly, he is the proud parent of a young adult with special challenges. He is a sought after speaker and advisor throughout CT and has helped families plan for a broad range of disabilities. Stuart's goal is to offer in-depth knowledge, compassion, and proficiency to his Special Needs Planning clients. He volunteers as the Board Chair of PLAN of CT, a non-profit that acts as a trustee for Special Needs Trusts. His time spent at many years of their meetings has taken his Special Needs Planning knowledge to a level that would have been unachievable through his regular practice.
