Join Food Explorers for a delicious treats in our ever popular seasonal baking series.
Session A: Fall Baking
Join Food Explorers for a cozy and delicious adventure in the kitchen! In this hands-on fall baking class, young chefs will learn to make tasty seasonal treats. You’ll be making: Pumpkin S’mores Cookies, Mini Apple Spice Bread, Sweet Potato Cookie Pies, and Cranberry Cobbler with Whipped Cream. All recipes are nut-free and vegetarian but will contain dairy, eggs, and gluten.
Session B: Holiday Baking
It’s the most wonderful time to bake! Join Food Explorers in this joyful hands-on class where young bakers will whip up holiday-themed treats. You’ll be making: Berry Cobbler with Whipped Cream, Chocolate Candy Cane Cookies, Gingerbread Whoopie Pies, and Butterscotch Cookie Pies. All recipes are nut-free and vegetarian but will contain dairy, eggs, and gluten.
The course fee includes the cost of ingredients and supplies.
Katie Shepherd is a registered dietician who created Food Explorers as a way to introduce children to healthy eating with a hands-on approach. All recipes are healthy and nut free! Students will leave each class with new recipes, new skills and new knowledge about the food they eat.
