Introduction to Qigong for Women

Fall 2025

This class is designed specifically for women interested in exploring the healing and empowering practice of Qigong. Rooted in traditional Chinese medicine, Qigong combines mindful movement, breathwork, and meditation to cultivate life force energy—known as Qi—for improved health, emotional balance, and inner vitality.  In this introductory class, you will:

  • Learn foundational Qigong movements tailored to support women’s physical and energetic systems
  • Explore breath techniques and meditations to calm the nervous system and promote emotional resilience
  • Begin to connect with the wisdom of your body through gentle flow and grounding practices

No prior experience is needed—This class offers a safe, nurturing space for women of all ages to reconnect with their energy, strength, and inner calm.

Marie Lavendier

Instructor

Marie Lavendier, MS is a certified teacher and coach in 3 lineages of Qigong: the Universal Healing Tao with Grandmaster Mantak Chia, Radiant Lotus Qigong for Woman with Daisy Lee and the Tao Tantric Arts with Minke de Vos and Shashi Solluna. She is also certified to teach the Snake Qigong for Women form by Deborah Davis.  A certified Journey Dance and Shake Your Soul teacher, she has been teaching Qigong and Movement for over 16 years.
