Introduction to Adult Tap

Adult Enrichment / Music, Dance & Drama -
Fall 2025

This course is designed to introduce tap dancing to the complete beginner. If you have never tap danced before and have always wanted to, this is the best place to start! Wear comfortable clothing and do not forget your tap shoes! Don’t have tap shoes but want to experience the course? We may have a gently used pair that you can purchase.

Instructor

Amy has been dancing her whole life. She began her teaching career at Von Tobel School, Becker Community School & Merluzzi’s School of Dance, all in Las Vegas, Nevada. She later returned home to Connecticut to open Spotlight Dance Center which later expanded into Spotlight Art Dance & Wellness. She then made the conscious decision to close the studio during the pandemic. She continues to teach full time to adults only, throughout Connecticut at various locations.
