CT Guard Card Course

Winter/Spring 2026

This State-mandated 8-hour CT guard card course is required by the State of Connecticut to become a licensed security officer. It covers the essential topics and skills needed for effective security work, including legal requirements, security practices, and emergency response. Upon completion, you’ll be equipped with the knowledge to work as a licensed security officer in Connecticut. This course is taught by a former Operations Manager of a private contract security company with over 13 years of progressive industry experience.

Class Tuition Includes the following:

  • 8-hour course to obtain your CT Guard Card
  • Application photos
  • Notarization services
  • Guide you through how to register for fingerprinting with the State Police
  • Learn how to find current security jobs
