Enjoy a gentle, flowing sequence of seated and standing yoga postures—offered at a relaxed pace and supported with modifications to meet your needs. You'll focus on mindfulness, flexibility, and stress reduction through breathwork and intentional movement for a full-body experience. Postures are held a bit longer to encourage deeper stretching and a calm, meditative atmosphere. You’ll leave class feeling centered, refreshed, and ready to start your day. Some prior yoga experience is helpful..
Students have the following course options:
Please bring a yoga mat, 2 blocks, and a yoga blanket to class.
Joanne completed her 500-hour yoga training at Sanctuary Power Yoga in Torrington, CT. She has also studied Reiki, Yin, and Restorative Yoga. Joanne recently completed a 20-hour course on the Anatomy of Yoga.
