If you have never tap danced before and have always wanted to, this course is the best place to start! Learn basic steps, rhythms, and combinations in a fun, supportive environment—no experience required! Wear comfortable clothing and bring your tap shoes. Don’t have a pair yet? Gently used pairs may be available for purchase, so you can join in right away.
Amy has been dancing her whole life. She began her teaching career at Von Tobel School, Becker Community School & Merluzzi’s School of Dance, all in Las Vegas, Nevada. She later returned home to Connecticut to open Spotlight Dance Center which later expanded into Spotlight Art Dance & Wellness. She then made the conscious decision to close the studio during the pandemic. She continues to teach full time to adults only, throughout Connecticut at various locations.
