Inclusion Champions is an engaging 5-session after school club dedicated to helping kids understand diverse abilities and learn practical ways to think and act more inclusively. Led by our school’s multidisciplinary team—including our occupational therapist, physical therapist, BCBA, speech-language pathologist, and special education teachers—each interactive session will explore different types of disabilities through hands-on games activities and meaningful discussions. To celebrate their learning, the club will culminate with an exciting field trip to Jonathan’s Dream, an inclusive playground in West Hartford, where students can experience firsthand the joy of play designed for everyone. This club is designed for students in grade 3 and 4, up to 20 participants.
