Enrichment courses offered for Farmington Public School employees ONLY!
Adult Tap combines exercise, rhythm, and fun. Each session begins with a gentle stretch, followed by a new tap combination weekly. Dancing boosts both body and mind while offering a social, energetic environment. Wear comfortable clothing and bring your tap shoes. Don’t have tap shoes, but want to experience the course? Gently used pairs may be available for purchase if needed.
For students who have already taken the Adult Tap For Beginners course or have previous tap dance experience.

Amy has been dancing her whole life. She began her teaching career at Von Tobel School, Becker Community School & Merluzzi’s School of Dance, all in Las Vegas, Nevada. She later returned home to Connecticut to open Spotlight Dance Center which later expanded into Spotlight Art Dance & Wellness. She then made the conscious decision to close the studio during the pandemic. She continues to teach full time to adults only, throughout Connecticut at various locations.
