Adult and Pediatric First Aid CPR/AED

Adult Enrichment / Personal Enrichment -
Winter/Spring 2026

Taught using American Red Cross standards, this Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED course features extensive hands-on practice designed to sharpen your skills across a wide range of real-world scenarios. You’ll work through both individual and team-based exercises, with guidance provided throughout. You will come away equipped with the knowledge and skills to respond effectively to medical emergencies, including cardiac arrest, choking, severe bleeding, and other critical situations for adults, children and infants. As your confidence grows, so will the complexity — each challenge building on the last to prepare you for real emergencies.

Course Objectives:
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
  • Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Usage
  • First Aid Response
  • Choking Relief

Upon successful completion of this course, participants will receive an American Red Cross Certification, valid for two years, demonstrating their competency and readiness to handle emergency situations with confidence. Please bring an ID to class and wear comfortable clothing and footwear as you will be performing CPR and first aid techniques on the floor. Accommodations for those who cannot perform techniques on the floor will be allowed to perform them on a table. All class material is provided.
