All aboard! The new Hoosac Valley Service, operated by the Berkshire Scenic Railway Museum, is a 10 mile, hour-long, round-trip train ride experience between North Adams and Adams, MA. The train offers beautiful views of Mount Greylock (the highest point in Massachusetts) and the surrounding Hoosac Mountain Range. Radio City Christmas Spectacular is a show that has become a New York Christmas classic. The people in charge of the show, the Rockettes, are a theatrical group that has been performing this musical for almost a century. Therefore, fun and quality are guaranteed. Of course, the central theme of the show is Christmas. Radio City Christmas Spectacular offers an immersive visual delight with more than 140 performers on stage. Also featured is the interactive experience, which includes drones, giant screens, and dazzling lighting. There is also a live orchestra, breathtaking costumes, and set design. The Baseball Writers' Association of America electee David Ortiz will join Golden Days Era Committee electees Gil Hodges, Jim Kaat, Minnie Miñoso, and Tony Oliva and Early Baseball Era Committee electees Bud Fowler and Buck O'Neil at the July 24 Induction Ceremony in Cooperstown. On June 12, 1939, the National Baseball Museum opened its doors for the first time in honor of the 100th anniversary of the mythical "first game" that allegedly was played in Cooperstown. The first four classes of Hall of Fame electees were honored on June 12, 1939. Located on Main Street, in the heart of picturesque Cooperstown, NY, the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum is one of the country's most popular destinations and is surely the best-known sports shrine in the world.
