Depart aboard our deluxe motorcoach as we head for the Fabulous Finder Lakes, so scenic with the Lakes shaped like an outstretched hand. Visit the Women's Rights National Historical Park telling the story of the first Women's Rights Convention held in Seneca Falls, NY in 1848. Two nights at the 41 Lakefront Hotel Geneva, Trademark Collection by Wyndham located in the heart of the Finger Lakes region on the north shore of Seneca Lake. Hotel features spacious guestrooms, fitness center, pool and restaurant. Welcome dinner tonight.
This morning we see glass in a whole new light at the world-renowned Corning Museum of Glass. Our visit highlights the history of glass from ancient times to Tiffany and Chihuly plus the exciting Hot Glass Show - see gobs of molten glass become masterpieces - a must see! Tour Pleasant Valley Winery, popularly known s the Great Western Winery. Its picturesque stone buildings are listed on the National Historic Register. Our walking tour will give us a glimpse of the rich history of the oldest winery in the Finger Lakes. Dinner at the New York Kitchen, for a unique educational experience. Enjoy our 3 course dinner in a demonstration theater setting where well's watch our chef prepare a dessert.
We head for home this morning and enjoy the scenic beauty of the Mohawk Valley along the way. We hop aboard our Cruise on the Historic Erie Canal. While on the boat, take a ride in a liquid elevator known as a "lift lock," raising and lowering boats 20 feet. Learn the fascinating history of the locks and what transportation was like in the 19th century. Following the cruise enjoy a deli lunch at Waterfront Grille before heading home with memories of the fabulous Finger Lakes.
