Farmington Continuing Education

Lights, camera, STEAM! Science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM) inspire big ideas, bold action – and creativity. Our skills make it possible to create art and experiences that bring us together, entertain us, and move us. During this session, FIRST® IN SHOW presented by Qualcomm, we will celebrate the roles our STEM skills play in the arts, design, and building of a world of endless possibilities. The future is yours to create.  Under the instruction of the Farmington Robotics Enforcers, students will work together to solve fun engineering challenges and build models using LEGO® bricks, gaining habits of learning, confidence, and teamwork skills along the way.

• 1 PM - 4 PM
• Students in grades 1-4
• Students focus on the fundamentals of engineering as they explore real-world problems, learn to design, and code, and create unique solutions made with LEGO bricks and powered by LEGO® Education WeDo 2.0.
• Students should bring their school/personal Chromebook or laptop to class each day, if possible, along with a healthy snack and a water bottle!

Cancellation/Refund Policy: Cancellations with a refund will be allowed up to July 22th less a $35 fee. There are NO cancellations / refunds after July 22!

All supplies are included.
