Food Explorers: Spring Baking Session (Gr. 2-6)

Join Food Explorers for 4 delicious weeks of spring desserts! Each week you’ll be baking a brand new recipe: Chocolate Banana Cakes, Lemon Blueberry Cookies, Carrot Cake Mini Donuts, and Honey Cakes. You’ll be learning new skills and baking techniques while trying new flavors in the kitchen. All recipes are nut-free but will contain dairy, eggs, and gluten. Ingredient substitutions are not possible.

The course fee includes the cost of ingredients and supplies.

Food Explorers - Katie Shepherd

Katie Shepherd is a registered dietician who created Food Explorers as a way to introduce children to healthy eating with a hands-on approach. All recipes are healthy and nut free! Students will leave each class with new recipes, new skills and new knowledge about the food they eat.
